The Rocker tech insurance prep program is designed to be quick and painless for everyone involved.
- We start with a phone call to understand the basics about your business, the data you store and manage, and what’s driving your decision to have a technology risk review now.
- We explain our tiered fee structure so there are no surprises.
- You sign our online contract and we schedule a time to discuss your systems in depth.
- We will meet for about a half day to ask questions related to your business, people, sensitive data, and third parties.
- You’ll receive a Risk Review document with our recommendations.
- If you wish, we’ll also work with your insurance agent or one of our recommended agents to put policies in place to protect your business.
- We check in with you from time to time to verify your team is managing data and coverage is adequate for any changes in your business.
Assess The Data & Processes
We want to learn what you do with the data collected, how it is processed, and what procedures protect it. We’ll also ask about the people who interact with the data.
Quantify the Risk & Changes
Rocker’s Risk Analysis process identifies areas of concern and ways you can reduce risk. We use a combination of industry statistics and our own perspective based on your explanation of the business to determine how to lower your risk of a data breach or exposure.
Fill Out Tech Insurance Application
Your carrier may have a simple or complicated application. We’ve found a discussion with the underwriter combined with our application notes really speeds the process and allows the underwriter to have a sense of safety. After all, you hired a tech expert to help!
Implement Policies & Procedures
If we identified areas of concern, then we’ll suggest changes to your business data management, staff training, and agreements with third parties. You can choose to implement these when your company is ready to do so.
