Don’t forget to educate your children.

I was able to see a new mobile phishing attack & scam recently. My friend received a text message from his teenage daughter. She asked him if it was a “real message from AT&T”.

She took screen shots of the message and sent it to him. He handed his phone to me so I could see the message. Here’s what it looked like:

His daughter clicked the link and was delivered to a mobile web page.

This is a clear phishing attack. Most adults would know not to enter any of the information, but children may not.

Please remember to educate your children about safe links, phishing, and safe web browsing.
